The woodland interior landscape is one of the most difficult subjects to interpret and paint. It is important to mentally organize your scene and simplify. By doing this from the time you conceptualize a painting you will increase your chances of a successful painting. In this video, Roger Dale Brown will walk you through the steps he takes to organize his scene before he begins a painting and take you through the final brush stroke.
Roger will show you how important a well-planned idea and a solid foundation is to the success of a painting. He will also stress the importance of focal points color harmony visual balance and variety of brushstrokes.
