Downloading errors

Causes of download failure:

Browser issues: Safari sometimes causes issues when downloading. We recommend Chrome.

Security settings/firewall within your computer: Please make sure your settings allow downloads from an unknown site. The download links you receive are an external link directly from Vimeo. If the download stops a few minutes in it’s usually due to a firewall.

Not enough storage.

Slow internet, interruption in internet.

How to download to an Ipad

When downloading to an Ipad it is necessary to have the “Vimeo” app from the App store.

To download, you must click on the video link within the body of your email that has the word “vimeo” in it. You will find this by scrolling down your email past the “download” block. Do not try to download directly from the download link. If you do not see a link with the word “Vimeo” in it please contact us and we will send you the link.

Click on the Vimeo link. If it asks you to open up in the app say yes. Once the video is opened in the app, there will be a little arrow and a clock in the top right corner of the page. The arrow and clock will not show up while the video is playing so touch the screen to pause. Once you see the arrow, click on it and it will start to download to the offline folder within the app. If you click the clock it will go to the “Watch Later” folder

Minimize the video or close it out and you will see some icons at the bottom of the page. Click on the bookmark and that is your offline folder.

This is your offline folder where downloaded videos are stored. You do not need internet to watch these videos
